Custom orders
A custom order starts once you approve a sketch and pay a 50% deposit. Consultations and emails never commit you to anything.
Items left with us
We photograph and describe every piece at intake. Items left for repair are insured while in our care and kept in our safe overnight.
Changes and cancellations
Change the design for free until you approve the wax model
Deposits are refundable until the wax model is approved, then credited toward another piece within 12 months
If we cannot finish your order for any reason on our side, you receive a full refund
Resizing is free for the first year on rings we make
Payment
Half when you approve the design and the balance at pickup. Rhode Island sales tax applies. We take cards, bank transfers and checks.
Repairs
We quote every repair before we start and call you if anything changes. Repairs left unclaimed for 12 months are handled as Rhode Island law allows.
Appraisals
Appraisals state the retail replacement value on the day they are written and are not an offer to buy. We recommend an update every three years.
Stones you bring
We check every customer stone under magnification before setting it and note any existing chips. Softer gems such as opal and emerald are set at the owner’s risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island.
